Click Click Play is now on Patreon!

When I set up Click Click Play a few months ago I had no idea how many people would end up joining us each week for the live podcast recording, or how many would read our reviews each month and I must say I’ve been overwhelmed. One reason I’ve started this Patreon is not just to recover the costs, but also to give something back to those of you who want to support us even further, through tier rewards and also to build up a close community as we drive forwards.

From our Patreon:

Well hello there! Thanks for stumbling across this Patreon for Click Click Play. We’re a relatively new video game website which publishes reviews and opinion pieces, but we’re predominantly centred around our weekly podcast – the Click Click Play Podcast (original, huh?)

Paying for web hosting, the web domain, GoToMeeting and various Adobe software licenses leaves a rather large hole in my pocket each month. Of course I’m happy to pay for it myself – yabbering on about video games is a serious addiction of mine and I wouldn’t have started it had I not been willing to fork out some pennies, but for the site to grow and develop further a monthly contribution would go a long way. Not only that, but it would free up funds to hold giveaways, advertise the site around social media and keep the web site (and YouTube channel) ad-free.

Whether you support us by donating $1, $5 or $12 a month, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. The response to the site since it was set up less than 6 months ago has been phenomenal and whether you’re an infrequent visitor who stumbles across a podcast or YouTube video every once in a while or someone who reads every review and watches us stream each podcast live on Twitch, please know that your support and encouragement means a huge amount to me and the rest of the Click Click Play team.
